Our customer was unable to fully utilize Smartplant Electrical to meet their standards, so multiple systems were used to manage electrical data and deliverables. This resulted in poor data quality and inconsistency between the various authoring tools and deliverables.

Through a combination of extending the delivered configuration, leveraging the out of the box functionality and the creation of a dedicated SPEL symbol library our Systems Admin and Customisation Team were able to deliver the required drawing quality as well meet the customer objective of managing electrical data in a single location.
